The power of feminism - Can ageless love exist?

Older Woman / Younger Man - Does age matter in a relationship?

Younger people who are more mature than most of their contemporaries may actually find an older mate to be more congenial. Yet as in any age gap relationships, the preference for a much older mate should be scrutinized with great care.

The danger is that the older person is psychologically a substitute parent, rather than a mate.

If these celebrities can do it, so can you!

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher (15-year gap)

Relationship support for Ageless Love

Please go to: http://www.agelesslove.com/boards/forum.php

A lot depends on the mental maturity of both people.

For an older woman/younger man (OW/YM), the odds are stacked against them from the start.

Unlike an older man/younger woman (OM/YW) pairing, like Hugh Hefner and his playmates, society frowns upon the OW/YM union. A traditional society readily accepts and to some extent celebrates OM/YW pairing. Some common arguments are that the OM has the status and capability. This is utterly untrue as it buys into the argument that the YW is "backbone-less" and willing to settle for tradeoffs in the relationship. The society cast an immediate perception that the YW is after the older one for money, and is willing to trade her body for material pleasures. How true is this? We won't know. Except the two involved.

Perhaps a study on the longetivity of such relationships will help.

The OW is branded names like cougar and milf. Degratory terms which do not serve the purpose of feminism. Many a times, the people who perpetuates these ideas are women themselves. It takes two hands to clap. And such a perception can never be sustained by what many choose to believe as Male Chauvinists driven ideas, it is however in fact, truly perpetuated by the silent acknowledgement of females or basically the refusal to rise against such opinions. True enough, it may be the "traditional males" who frown upon a OW/YM union but it does not help that the spouses do not support their often less lucky counterparts.

Stacked against them, we have a society who turns inwardly against females. In a modern society, encouraging feminism and the empowerment of women and to a large extent equality of sexes, we are unfortunately still archaic in our perception of relationships.

Already, females are turning waves in various arenas.

For example, the heads of state.
Philippines First Female President Maria Corazon Sumulong Cojuangco-Aquino
The current Chancellor of Germany Angela Dorothea Merkel
27th Prime Minister of Australia Julia Gillard, since Jun 2010

Eminent First Ladies
The first lady of the 44th President of the United States Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama
The multi-talented and immensely beautiful First Lady of the President of the French Republic Carla Bruni-Sarkozy

Top Corporate Performers
Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Madeleine Odette Lagarde

Top Humanitarian Figures we subscribe to
Mother Teresa
Florence Nightingale

Top Actresses
Helen Lydia Mironoff (a.k.a Helen Mirren)

As we strive to promote the flourishing of a society where females co-drive the nation, perhaps we can take a moment and reflect on the concept of feminist equality in terms of age-gap differences for relationships.

The Escape Art's Philosophy

David Belle: Its people who are giving the impression that you're doing something wrong. But you're like: "What's the matter?"

People have different perspectives. The danger comes when people with similiar perspectives band tgt and impose theirs (as a majority) on others.
Those who continue to hold their own persepctive are branded as outcasts, rebels and even sociopath. It is sad how we're caged by what's a consensus. In an ideal world, ppl should be free and have the benefit of choice. But in practice, it is not entirely possible.

My willingness to jump (train) - parkour, affects your perspective of safety and incites pandemonium due to what is known as "socially unacceptable" behaviour (which is essentially caging by nature).

Policy Change – S. Korea turn of attitude

Nov 10, 2010
S.Korea drops call for apology from the North
Move could result in resumption of six-party talks, food and other aid

This is significant because the turn in attitude was initiated by S. Korea.

For a nation who had their vessel sunk- Cheonan, the S. Korea's move could emphasize her magnanimity. But there could be many more alternatives/"or"s:

Or it represent a stronger desire by S. Korea to welcome N. Korea to the six-party talks than the latter desired. Or for a nation traditionally supported by the world powers against the delinquent half, it could signify the mounting pressure on the nation to restart talks to further, whatever means in store, or protect against a potential terror threat. Or S. Korea could have sensed another burgeoning threat, possibly nuclear that required the swift return to six-party talks to stamp the threat out of reality. Or more probably, the whole “Cheonan” incident could have ended to be a staged bargaining chip eroding into a fiasco.

As quoted in the article, “Most political analysts in the South believe a North Korean apology for the Cheonan sinking is highly unlikely.” An issue of apology, would present itself as an recognizing the accusation, the committing of the crime. An adamant refusal to admit, could come across as insisted innocence or possibly pure obstinacy. Fair enough, N. Korea may refuse to comment. Nevertheless, it has grown to become common knowledge that this incident would jut out like a sore wound even during the resumption of six-party talks or the conduct of bilateral relations, as proven by the recurrence of the issue on agenda of various bilateral meetings planned for the G-20 gathering.

this incident would jut out like a sore wound even during the resumption of
six-party talks or the conduct of bilateral relations

All this maybe speculation but it certainly is peculiar for a man to forgive another jerk after he slept with the former's wife. And even dissolving the need for apology, on the simple condition that he display sincerity and discretion in the future conduct of relations. It certainly shows the "cuckold" going out of his way, ain't it. *forgive the analogy* Or it could be that one recognize the bigger picture, and swallow the bad reaction to display unusual magnanimity, to get the other, back to the negotiating table in order to make concessions and agree to a unified Korean dream for the future.

it certainly is peculiar
Nonetheless, the tale of the two estranged brothers is certainly an interesting case to watch.

Flexi-hours: Will they do the job?
By Kim Ji Hyun, for The Straits Times
9 Nov 2010

Traditionally workaholic S. Korean firms explore flexi-hours.
I believe the success intrinsic-ly boils down to the job requirement and perspective of both the employers and employees.

Job Requirement
Service, production line where another can easily take over where you left off, sounds favourable to the flexi-hours work scheme. However, jobs which require continuous supervision by committed professionals, for examply in the research line, may not be that kind to flexi-hours.

Employers
Acceptance to the flexi-hours scheme and willingness to make concessions to fit the transition/ risk a temporary drop in productivity levels during initial stages of implementation.

Employees
Expectations of ascent in careers through promotions should not be first priority then. It is difficult to see how

From a corporate perspective bent on progress and sustained results, i believe that the flexi-hours holds too much uncertainty of bearing fruit, and risk incurring a bigger pool of employees whose benefits one have to look after. Not too feasible.

Let's study the Singapore aspect.
Aim:
How successful do firms find the implementation of flexi-hours working scheme for their productivity and profits margin?
How do employees find flexi-hours contributing to the bigger picture of the work and more importantly, their life?

"privates" are extremely useful

I assure you that.

Be it blatant privates.
Privates - juniors in the chain of military command.
But more so, the things in one closet.

The way your eyes speak. - The body tells a thousand tales.
Your private life. - It is no wonder PIs cost a lot.
The emotions you bring forth - Knowing how they arise, knowing the triggers, capturing the Psychological bearings.

They are great liabilities.
Things that another can use.

Honesty and sincerity is the greatest gift one can give.
But alligators can use them.
Welcome to the amusing world of human relationships.

Be unguarded or build a outrageously thick lead well around yourself?

I like this song. U2 and R.E.M. make great combinations.

Nightswimming - I'm not sure all these people understand.

Not everything you do has to be explained explicitly.
Not everyone will understand your intention. But does it matter?
Not if belief and intent are parallel.

Litigation - how you see it?

One man's frivolity maybe all the defence another man can count on.

24 Feb - contorted Black Black Heart

it is so easy to fall into an abyss
as the optimism slip
when i shut my eyes do i slip into bliss
as i begin to lose my grip
we live for pleasure feel the pain
in this world i'm undying
but does undying mean a thing

black black heart, why would you offer more
why do you make it easier to satisfy
i'm on fire, i'm rotting to the core
i'm sweeping all your ink and morals
all your sex and your diamonds

as i lose myself in this life
- of dope breathing in the toxins
live for play and feel the plain
i'm naked underneath the world's cover
covers lie and like a zombie we walk through
with no direction no aims
time will come and rape the youth

black black heart why would you offer more
why do you make it easier to satisfy
i'm empty, i'm crying blood
i'm drowning in all my faeces and faces
All my vomit and demons

Black black heart why would you offer more
Why would you make it easier on me to satisfy
I'm on fire I'm rotting to the core
I'm eating all your kings and queens
All your sex and your diamonds
All your emptiness and your helplessness
All your vomit and your demons
All your complexes and your glamour
All your sex and your diamonds

6 Feb - how would a martial artist think?

a martial artist's devotion.

sometimes i wonder, my heart is narrow and my mind is crowded with useless stuff.
is this the way to seek improvement.
i ask myself is this the way of a martial artist?

they say morality and integrity is what distinct a true martial artist from another.
that the embodiment of the lessons goes beyond pure physical honing but in the materialization of one's actions and behaviour.
i believe it would definitely not hurt to learn more techniques such that when the need arises, the body is willing and trained.
times are rare, or never.
but to why do martial artists still train?
the never ending improvement.
the gratification in knowing you can probably punch the teeth out of the bugger standing in front of you, but you don't, because you exercise control.
the betterment of the body and spirit.
i really don't know.

my body and mind is retarded and uncooperative.
techniques take ages to absorb.
yet why do i still train?

my mind is like a highlight reel.
reeling the moves that i would wish to perform to an unstoppable degree.
a close-in clinch, a take-down.
a simple well-crafted well-timed back-hook to the head in the narrowest of angle and space in the nick of time.
these are all dreams.

my body screams.
my knee begs.
my mind dulls.

is this the right approach?
the lessons are aplenty.
the finance is limited.
the time is a constraint.
the energy is an issue.
the body is spent.

what would a martial artist do?
is it worth pursuing the life of one even?

Stop an Attack from Behind with Pressure Points

Place your hand on the elbow of the attacker. Most attacks from behind involve the attacker wrapping an arm around the neck or body. Find the pressure point located one inch above the elbow. Press the points on both sides of the upper arm as if sandwiching the bone.

Simultaneously place your other hand on top of the attacker's hand. Wrap your fingers around the meaty part just under the attacker's thumb. Find the pressure point above the webbing between the attacker's thumb and index finger. Press the point from both sides as if sandwiching the meaty part of the attacker's hand. The simultaneous attacks on pressure points in the hand and elbow will stun the attacker.

Stomp the pressure point in the instep of the attacker's foot. Drive your heel straight down on the attacker's shoelaces. This will press the point in the middle of the foot and cause great pain.

Throw your head back. By now the attacker is preoccupied with the pain in his elbow, hand and foot. He is most likely leaning forward in an instinctive reaction to protect himself. Attempt to strike the pressure point just beneath the attacker's nose. This will feel like little more than a tap to the back of your head, but will probably break the attacker's nose.

Step to one side and thrust your elbow straight back. This will put you in line to strike the attacker in the solar plexus. This is the point just below the sternum where your diaphragm helps you breathe. An elbow pressing the point suddenly will knock the air out of any unprepared attacker.

Duck under the attacker's arm while you push up on the arm. This should be easy after neutralizing the attacker with five pressure points in the space of a few seconds. Run away as fast as you can.

All of these pressure point defense techniques should be done in quick succession. The idea is to use the element of surprise to stun the attacker with pressure points. Don't give him time to think about what is happening or to recover. You only have a few seconds to escape. Don't waste them admiring your work.

for boys will always be boys. and the boy will always seek the female butterfly.

blogs give a sense of freedom. the liberating part lies in publishing one's thoughts without considering twice about backlash. but... but... but... this is only true when the followership is low. the dichotomy lies in that people desire a huge following, but responsiblity, censure, sensationalising follows, which goes against the very initial satisfaction.

i am a journalist. coupled with its relevant ethics. the voice of the person. striving to bring every piece of news in its clearest form.

nobility is often undervalued by society. in other words, the dividends of nobility aren't exactly appealing.

if everyone spend more time on work than interests, Newton may have reduced the sea of infinite possibilities before him to a pond by now.

its too bad, any one came with too much of an emotional baggage. and a pre-conceived attitude.

but if you care, to stare beyond the apathy, you will find a fresh unharvested heart waiting to embrace the world.

for the apathy has fouled the heart and the pit that's so often deep and the vision so often flawed, has come to be accepted. accepting is removing the desire of guilt, and removing so, allows the blind to see again.

we're all very much blind and deaf.

even with eyes, do you really think you see?
